2nd Day - Salkantaypampa - Salkantay Pass- Sisay Pampa
The colder morning temperatures will be excellent to ascend to the highest and toughest part of this trek, in the snow over the Salkantay pass (5200m). This pass is a wonderful spot for sightseeing because it's surrounded by majestic snow-peaks such as Humantay (5459m), Tucarhuay (5910m) and Soray Hill (5428m). After the pass we'll be hiking down until the Sisay pampa (3700m) where our campsite is.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

5th Day - Pacaymayu - Chaqui cocha - Wiñayhuayna

6th Day - Wiñayhuayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco
We'll leave very early in the morning with our torch-lights to hike the last couple of hours that separate us from the historical, spiritual and agricultural Inca-capital of Machu Picchu (2400m). After this tour that will last for about two hours you'll have plenty of time to wander around the ruins by yourself and, for the bravest among us there is always the ascension to Huayna Picchu or the nearby Temple of the Moon.
