Day 1 - We leave from Cusco early in the morning on our comfortable bus and travel to the town of Paucartambo. On this journey we will visit the Chullpas (tombs) of Ninamarca. Later we go down to the mysterious cloud forest full of beautiful orchids, plants and primitive ferns. We stop for the opportunity to see the bird: “Gallito de las rocas” (Rupicola peruviana) in their mating ritual and also the unique types of plants and with some luck the spectacle bear. You will certainly have a rare opportunity to encounter one of the unique sights of South America. We’ll spend the night in a typical hostel in the village of Pillcopata.

Day 2 - This day we go to the Atalaya port by bus, we’ll navigate the Alto Madre de Dios River, and we’ll be able the wildlife like herons, vultures, the spectacular jungle Condor, jaguars and many more. We will spend the night at the camping ground on platforms with roofs, which is very near to the impressive Collpa of Macaws. Each platform has toilets and showers. 

Day 3 - We start the day going up high to the Collpa. The guide will explain about the parrots and macaws there. Little by little dozens of parrots start to come down, often hundreds are seen. The macaws gather in masses and multiple colors are seen, after this, we return and in the evening we go on a walk to explore the diverse trails around the lodging.

Day 4 - The journey by boat continues and we can observe the spectacular wildlife on the banks of the river like: groups of turtles, white caimans (Caimán cocodrylus) and some ronsocos (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris). In the afternoon we camp at Cocha Otorongo. A little later we organize a walk to visit the lake and the observation tower where we have the opportunity to observe the river wolves. We spend the night at the camping round on platforms with roofs.

Day 5 - This the group visits Cocha (pond) Salvador and we have 30 minutes to spend at Cocha Otorongo, navigating in silence and observing the wildlife, like river wolves, and later walk the principal trails.. We spend the night at the camp ground on platforms with roofs. Optional night walk. 

Day 6 - This day we will be woken up to the howl of the Cotomonos (howling monkey). Unfortunately this day we begin our trip back. We spend the night at the lodging.

Day 7 - Return by boat to the village of Atalaya where the bus will take us to Pillcopata. We will arrive at a lodge with showers and toilets available.

Day 8 - Return from Pillcopata to Cusco by bus. Visit the cloud forest. We will arrive in the afternoon. And take you to your hotel.
