PUERTO MALDONADO PROGRAM

CPS Andes Peruvian Tours offers the most complete excursion and the unique contact with the local way of the life, interacting wiht the rainforest ecosystems and the people.

Day 1:
We arrive at Puerto Maldonado and transfer from the airport where we embark on our boat for the start of an unforgettable journey on the river Madre de Dios. On the trip we observe beautiful landscapes as well as the exuberant wildlife, like: caimans, turtles, herons and other animals. Arriving at the Ecoamazonía Lodge, we will be able to experience a typical welcome and we will be taken to our bungalows. After lunch a specialized guide will take us on a visit to Monkey Island.
 
Day 2: Cocha Perdida
Alter breakfast, we begin an adventure in virgin jungle accompanied by a local guide. We’ll visit Cocha Perdida, a fragile ecosystem, refuge and provides nourishment for and immense variety of animals: otters, caymans, turtles, Sachavacas, multicolored birds. Later, we arrive at MIRADOR AMAZÓNICO (Amazon lookout), constructed at the top of the midst of the massive trees called “SHIHUAHUACO”, and then a comfortable ride in a canoe around the lake, and after lunch we visit a traditional local family. We return in time for dinner.

Day 3: River Gamitama
After breakfast we go on another excursion to the magical jungle where we navigate the river Madre de Dios and then we begin a long walk to the river RIO GAMINATA/BRIOLO, which is formed with extensive navigation channels using which we return by canoe, always appreciating the exotic wildlife. We return to the hostel where we will spend the night and have dinner.

Day 4: Puerto Maldonado - Lima

After breakfast at the lodge, we go to the airport for your flight to Lima, where we’ll wait for you and take you to your hotel.

CPS05 Option - CANOPY.- It is a complex set of hanging briges, towers and platforms where vositors can experince a part of the rainforest ecosystem seldom seen by human eye. The rainforest canopy pffers glimpses at unique flora and fauna that are impossible to observe from the ground level. The Canopy is unique in the Southern Peruvian rainforest and one of the largest and safest in the world.
