CPS Andes Peruvian Tours offers the most complete excursion and the unique contact with the local way of the life, interacting wiht the rainforest ecosystems and the people. This excursion features 11 amazing explorations and the opportunity to try almost avery activity at the reserva amazonica.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Excursion to the native Ese-Ejas community of Palma Real and their cultivate clearings of land, opportunity to participate in the handcraft activities and daily duties,
• Our most complete collection of explorations, which include exploring the Gamitana Creek, where travelers can observe a great diversity of unique fauna; discovering the magnificent Lake Sandoval; observing the superb wetland floodable acosystem; visit at local plantation of Amazon Crops; exploring the primate dwelled Rolin Island; and venturing into the rainforest by night searching for caimans and other nocturnal animals.
• Overnight and full board at reserva amazonica (5 days and 4 nights), including breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner at one of the largest and best equipped kitchens in the southern Amazon.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Basic program CPS01 5 days / 4 nights

1 day.- Arrival to Puerto Maldonado airport. Greeting and trasportation from the airport to the river port. Set out by outboard motorboat down the Madre de Dios River to our lodge (45 min). Arrival and welvame, accommodation and lunch at the lodge. Guided walk along the lodge’s Trail System. Evening Nature Presentations on Amazonian topics. Typical dinner at the lodge. Evening walk, sounds identification and search of Amazon footprints. Overnight.

2 day.- Excursion to Rolin Island to observe various monkey species. Tropical breakfast buffet at the lodge. Visit to the wetlands floodable ecossystem. Return to the lodge and lunch. Boat transportation through the Madre de Dios River. 1-hour trek to the Lake Sandoval. Arrival to the lake. Rowboat navigation around the lake or possibility of a swim in the lukewarm waters. Sunset and moonrise observation. Return downstream the madre de dios River to the lodge observins caimans and nocturnal birds along de ride. In the evening typical dinner at the lodge. Overnight

3 day.- Tropical breakfast buffet at the lodge. Visit to a anitve Amazonian farm. Board the motorboat to the Gamitana Creek. Observation of birds, monkeys, tortoise and alligators. Native fishing using local techniques. Lunch on one of the Creek’s beaches tasting amazonian fiches. Return to the lodge while watching the sunset. Evening Nature presentations about Amazonian topics. Dinner at the lodge and overnight

4 day.- Tropical breakfast buffet at the lodge. Navigation down the madre de Dios River towards the Bolivian border. Arrival to Palma Real Community. Visit to the BONI or Child Forest. Forest learning through children’s guidance. Lunch in the boat during the return. Free afternoon for resting and relaxing at the lodge’s facilities. Evening Nature presentation on Amazonian topics. Dinner at the lodge. Overnight

5 day.- Tropical breakfast buffet at the lodge. Return to Puerto Maldonado. Transportation to the airport. Visit to the butterfly farm. Departure from Puerto Maldonado airport.

CPS05 Option - CANOPY.- It is a complex set of hanging briges, towers and platforms where vositors can experince a part of the rainforest ecosystem seldom seen by human eye. The rainforest canopy pffers glimpses at unique flora and fauna that are impossible to observe from the ground level. The Canopy is unique in the Southern Peruvian rainforest and one of the largest and safest in the world.
