LIMA - CUSCO - MACHUPICCHU - LIMA 6D/5N

Day 1 - Lima
We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel where we give you a general introduction to the city. You will spend the night at the hotel in Lima.

Day 2 - Lima - Cusco
After taking breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to the airport for the flight to the city of Cusco, which lasts for about 1 hour. In Cusco we receive at the airport and take you to your hotel, there, during the welcome, you can enjoy some Coca tea and we give you general information about the city and then have some time to rest and acclimatize.
In the afternoon you’ll go in a City Tour Including; A visit downtown to the ruins of Qoricnacha: the Temple of the Sun, where the catholic church of Saint Dominic stands today. Continuing the tour outside the city of Cusco, we will visit the archeological sites of: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (the Temple dedicated to water), to finally take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 3 - Cusco - Sacred Valley - Cusco
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit the ancient Incan site of Pisac then you can go to the local/indigenous market for a taste of local color and tradition. Later we go deeper into the valley and to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch, next we visit the Inca city of Ollantaytambo which has in the symbolic form of a Llama. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo together with the water canals have changed little since the Incas time and strongly evoke the ancestral inheritance of this land.  We return to Cusco via Chincheros and the important archeological repository there, to finally arrive to Cusco and take you back to your hotel.

Day 4 - Cusco – Machupicchu - Cusco
We make a very early start this day, after breakfast at the hotel, we go to the train station for the excursion to Machupicchu - the "Lost City of the Incas". This place is one of the most recognized examples of Inca architecture. Surrounded by mountains and lush vegetation this site is located on the summit of a mountain. Lunch is not included. Finally, in the afternoon we return to Cusco and take you to your hotel.

Day 5 - Cusco - Lima
After taking breakfast at the hotel we take you to the airport for the return flight to Lima. You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel in Lima. The afternoon is free for you.

Day 6 – Departure from Perú
After taking breakfast at the hotel we take you to the airport for connecting international flight(s).
